Rae Billing's three albums of Alt-Country music, with sideguys that include such notables as Garth Hudson (The Band), Cleave Anderson (Blue Rodeo), Steve Koch (Ron Sexsmith), and many others, have cemented her reputation as a unique vocalist and songwriter. In 1996, Rae's debut album was listed by Toronto's Eye Magazine as one of the top three country albums - alongside Lyle Lovett and Blackie & The Rodeo Kings.
